Registrar Spam Statistics

Most unsolicited email typically has an "advertised site" using a domain (i.e www.buymyproduct.com). The above list represents the Registrar of record for each such domain from spam received in ten separate email accounts. For each spam received, a complaint was sent to the Registrar thereby giving the Registrars an opportunity to resolve any spam issues.

Score is a weighted score over the past 6 months.  6 points for each spam from the current month, 5 points for each spam from the prior month and 4 points for each spam the month prior to that and so on.  We feel this will provide a more accurate representation of current spam issues and also help  Registrars Cleaning up to be removed from this list quicker.

While we realize the subject of holding Registrars accountable for their spamming customers is controversial, we believe that because they are taking money to in essence " license"  the domain name, they have a responsibility to the Internet community to have policies that permit  termination of spamming customers. 

All complaints are sent to abuse@Registrar addresses. Some Registrars (Tucows, ItsYourDomain & 000Domains) have requested that  they do not want to receive these complaints. As we honor such requests, we cannot assume responsibility for their lack of awareness of the above data.   Some Registrars like Enom.com block complaints.
